This was a GRP flat roof we installed in Manchester, adjoining it to a GRP roof we had previously done on the neighboring property, creating one complete GRP roof system. We first installed all preformed trims to the perimeter, around the box sections and roof lantern keyed into the existing neighbouring roof to allow the new system to be joined onto it. We then fitted two lead welded outlet points to the inlayed gully’s before installing the first layer fibreglass system, lightly sanding once hard cured. We then installed the first layer of two topcoats to the entire area and box sections. Lead flashings were fitted to the rear wall section before the second layer of topcoat was applied to complete the system.
